Black & White...
OOOHHH isn't this gorgeous!!! I have a customer named JoAnne..she makes the most amazing quilts..you will be seeing a lot of her on here. I love this black and white...
MY HAPPY PLACE
I have a special room where the magic happens...When we built our house we basically built a room for my machine.. My friend (the word "friend" does not do her justice) made me this witch a couple of years ago so she watches over me and makes sure all my quilts turn out...
I also have a lot of things in here that remind me of my Mom. She really is my true inspiration especially when it comes to sewing... She was never able to see this room because of our stairs but I'm pretty sure she is there a lot with me now..
BABY BLANKET
This my friends is a very sad sad story... Back in I think March my good friend Carol contacted me and told me that she was expecting a new grandson and was wondering if I could make him a quilt. Of course I agreed little did I know it would take me until now to finish it....Good new is that is it is finished and it is way cute..She wanted blues and browns and I picked the pattern..It is quiled with lots of swuirls...I was beginning to think I wasn't going to have it done until he went off to college. Now he is big enough to crawl all over it!

This is the latest quilt that I finished..A lady named Tracy made the quilt top. Let me tell you about Tracy.. She was referred to me by her cousin Jackie (I have quilted a couple of quilts for her) and I met up with her on her break from a training job she was doing out on the North end of town. From the second we started talking I felt like I have known Tracy for years..as it turns out we know a lot of the same people and have a lot of the same crafting interests. It was so fun talking with her I swear we were like two high school friends just catching up...Her quilt was made out of a canvas like material, it is gorgeous and very very heavy! She also gave me another one to quilt that she has embroidered on so hopefully I will be able to post it soon...KaReN
Since I have created this blog and also one for my photography I have thought and thought about them. I think I am now ready to put some pictures on here and start telling people about this one..Looking at it though there are some adjustments that I want to make..(not to happy with the brightness)..So here we go...

Welcome to my quilting blog..
Some quick history--In approximately 1996 my Mom bought us a quilting machine. It was an AMQS. No stitch regulator that was the biggest down fall..We had a blast with that machine we made several quilts and a lot of wall hangings. In 2007 I got daring and sold my HMQS and bought a Gammill..I call her the cadi of quilting machines! I love helping people finish their quilts. I also make quilts so I know the time and hard work that goes into each quilt. Since I have been quilting for others I have been amazed at all the beautiful quilts that have been brought to me so I decided a blog would be a great way to share with everyone. I am also hopeful it will be a fun way to share information and ideas with other quilters...So enjoy and remember to always QUILT 4 FUN! KaReN
